Well Bore Cleaners
Well bore clean-up is the removal of solids and other contaminants from the well bore after a drilling operation.
The aim of clean-up is to prepare the well bore for completion following the drilling phase. Completions are often comprised of debris sensitive equipment. Most failures in completion were as a result of poor clean ups. Failures when running completions can be costly, both in rig time and equipment cost.
Hence, the need to ensure proper well bore clean up, using quality products. Eunisell has a track record of offering high quality well bore cleaners which had been tested and proven to be very effective globally. The main functions of drilling fluids are as follows:
- To maintain hydrostatic pressure and prevent formation fluids from entering the wellbore.
- To carry out drill cuttings removal and suspend them when drilling is paused or when the drilling assembly is being tripped in and out of the hole.
Additionally, completion fluids are designed to control the well in the event of downhole hardware failure, without causing damage to the production formation or completion components.
